The 10 Unholy Commandments Of Joseph Ryan

1. I have never engaged in extensive manipulation and fraud and certainly have not been the subject of legal proceedings against me.

2. I am a validly ordained Catholic priest and certainly have a licence (licentiate sacerdos) to partake in ANY religious ceremony.

Harvester of Sex Abuse Tales

Harvester Of Sex Abuse Tales

1. As a victim of clerical sexual abuse myself, I find the remarks made in this posting upsetting and moreso as it is without any basis of truth.

2. I have not, never nor would treat the horrendous act of child sex abuse as a ‘commodity’ nor see it as ‘valuable’ in any way, shape or form.

3. To say that I have added to the pain of others (namely sex abuse victims) gives the impression and implication that I have sexually abused which is totally untrue and very serious in its nature.

3 Men in 1

1. I am not the Editor of 'Clerical Whispers' and certainly at the time of the writing of the piece as mentioned, that was also the position.

2. At the time of the writing of that piece, I was still resident in Ennis, and only moved to Clarecastle almost a month later.

3. To refer to Clarecastle and its people in the fashion mentioned is most wrong and without foundation, and after living here for well over 2 years, it certainly is without basis.
